David anticipates that each expert will contribute towards our understanding of why the extensively grazing Fell pony is under severe threat.

• Value within conservation grazing schemes
• Biodiversity and farm animal genetic resources
• Links with Hadrian’s Wall - The place of the breed within northern landscapes and within the vicinity of Hadrian’s Wall (a geographical perspective)
